Fujifilm says it can print 100 photos before it needs to be charged again. It takes around 80 – 120 minutes to charge the printer. You’ll also need to buy special Instax printer paper, which comes in a variety of styles; 10 pages per pack. They retail for around $14.99 per 10 pack of exposures, making them relatively expensive.
How to Use the Instax Mini Link Printer
You’ll need a special app to connect your Nintendo Switch to your smartphone and printer. The app is available on iOS and Android. You connect your Switch to the Instax for Nintendo Switch app to customize the photo before printing it. The app features custom frames for games like Animal Crossing, Pokemon Snap, and Super Mario Odyssey. Fujifilm and Nintendo could add support for more games over time.
Which games does the Instax Mini Link support?
You can print any of your Switch screenshots using the printer, but the Instax for Switch app has special borders. These borders can be customized and added to photos before they are printed for a special look. So far, the app includes special borders for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pokemon Snap, and Super Mario.
