Yacht Club Games said it took plenty of convincing to get MekaSkull to agree to a publishing deal. He initially said no when they approached him about publishing Cyber Shadow.

Yacht Club Games has announced it is helping publish a new 8-bit ninja action game called Cyber Shadow. The game has been in development for more than ten years and YCG has spent the last year helping polish it.
