Bonsly evolves into the rock type pokemon, Sudowoodo. It’s a rare spawn that only appears in two locations throughout the Hisui region. Here’s what you need to know to catch Bonsly.

Trainers can find Bonsly at the Cloudpool Ridge in the Crimson Mirelands. After quelling the Noble Kleavor in the Obsidian Fieldlands, the expedition moves on to the Crimson Mirelands. Cloodpool Ridge is south of the Brave Arena, so the quickest way to get there is by warping there or to the Boglands Camp.

Trainers can also find a Bonsly at the Celestica Ruins in the Coronet Highlands. Players will need to follow Ingo through the Wayward Cave and unlock the Ride Sneasler before they can proceed to catching a Bonsly in this region. Once you have Sneasler unlocked, you can climb mountains to make this task easier. Head northwest from the Lonely Spring campsite to reach the Celestica Ruins.

Sneaking through the grass and hiding out of sight is the best way to catch a Bonsly in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

You can also find Sudowoodo wandering around Cloodpool Ridge. Bonsly is the rarer pokemon between the two of them, so be careful if you see one. It is very easy to scare this pokemon and startle it into running, so you must be stealthy. If you’d rather evolve your own Sudowoodo, you must level Bonsly to 29 to learn Mimic.
