Panic Button will be giving new life to two Runic Games classics. Hob: The Definitive Edition will launch on Nintendo Switch on April 4. Torchlight 2 will be available this autumn on consoles, though Switch wasn’t specifically mentioned.

Hob launched on PC and PS4 in 2017 as a great solo adventure full of puzzles to master and secrets to discover. Players unlock more of the world as they progress through the game with their key-shaped sword.

Hob: The Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch will include several improvements over the original launch. New camera controls, UI enhancements, and other quality-of-life improvements have been implemented. HD Rumble support and touch-screen functionality have also been introduced. The game will cost $19.99 when it releases on April 4, but you can snag a 10% pre-order discount on the eShop.

Torchlight 2

Even though no platforms were announced for Torchlight 2, it’s probably safe to say it will release on Nintendo Switch. The game debuted in 2012 as an action RPG with inspiration from games like Diablo 2. The game is a colorful spin on the dungeon crawling genre that is well worth the experience even seven years after release.

Perfect World shut down Runic Games in 2017 after the poor sales performance of Hob. Now two classics will get new life on consoles and Panic Button is well-known for giving their ports the best treatment possible.
