The Animal Crossing Companion Guide is divided up into seven distinct sections. The first section teaches basic island controls and explains everything new to the series. It also includes a basic guide on how the NookPhone and playing with others works.
The second section introduces all the island residents you’ll encounter. It also teaches how the recycle box and museum works and includes a massive villager checklist. The third section teaches how tools work, how to earn lots of bells, resident move-in conditions, and Nook Miles objectives.
The fourth section is dedicated to seasonal changes, weather, bugs, and fish. There are dedicated checklists for bugs and fish to help you keep track of all of your catches. The guide also explains the fishing tourney and bug-off events.
Curious how DIY recipes work and how many there are in the game? This Animal Crossing companion guide includes a full checklist of all the DIY recipes ACNH launched with. It’s likely Nintendo will add more in future updates, but the list is comprehensive.
